Venient Fx Prostate Function Basic
Test Description
Venient Fx Prostate Function Basic is a disruptive, non-invasive test that provides primary information about a patient's prostate function.
Based on a routine blood analysis and powered by both proprietary machine learning and public algorithms, it provides highly accurate primary diagnostic information, including the likelihood of any type of prostate dysfunction. As a first line test, the results of the parameters included in it are useful to guide through different diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic options. Although the results are usually preliminary in decision making, in some cases, they can be definitive.
It is based on the free PSA/total PSA ratio.
In case of a positive result, the diagnostic report may suggest the performance of a specific secondary test of choice, in order to deepen diagnostic information, confirm therapies, establish prognoses or follow up the disease.
If prostate disease is suggested, other tests will be recommended as appropriate.
Screening recommendations
The United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) only recommends prostate screening for prostate cancer.
However, Kience Inc. recommends the Venient Fx Prostate Function Basic test to treat patients with the following symptoms, signs or suspicions of disease: frequent urination (frequent urination) or urgency, difficulty starting to urinate, weak urine flow or urine that stops and restarts, dribbling after urination, inability to completely empty the bladder, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), acute prostatitis or chronic prostatitis, among others.
