Venient Fx Menopause - Female
Test description
Venient Fx Menopause (Female) is a disruptive, non-invasive test for menopause assessment.
It is based on a routine blood test and is powered by both proprietary machine learning and public algorithms, and provides highly accurate primary diagnostic information, including the likelihood of menopause. As a first line test, the results of the parameters included in it are useful in guiding through different diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic options. Although the results are usually preliminary in decision making, in some cases, they can be definitive.
It is based on the determination of estradiol, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), as well as the FSH/LH ratio.
In case of a positive result, the diagnostic report may suggest the performance of a specific second line test, in order to deepen the diagnostic information, confirm therapies, establish prognoses or follow up the disease.
If menopause is suggested, other tests will be recommended as appropriate.
United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) diagnostic confirmation recommendations
The United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) does not include any recommendations for menopause screening.
However, Kience Inc. recommends the Venient Fx Menopause (Female) test to treat patients with symptoms, signs or suspicion of disease: women with any symptoms or suspicion of having or developing menopause, such as anxiety, mood swings, brain fog, hot flashes and irregular periods.
Intended Use
The target population for the Venient Fx Menopause (Female) test are patients with clinically suspected: women with any symptoms suspicious of having or developing menopause, such as anxiety, mood swings, brain fog, hot flashes and irregular periods.
