Test Description

Venient Fx Hormonal Balance and Reproductive Function Basic (Male) is a disruptive, non-invasive test that provides primary information on a patient's hormonal balance and reproductive function, as well as their strength and athletic profile.

It is based on a routine blood analysis and is powered by both proprietary machine learning and public algorithms, and provides highly accurate primary diagnostic information, including the likelihood of having any type of reproductive dysfunction or any athletic health-related problem. As a first line test, the results of the parameters included in it are useful for guiding through different diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic options. Although the results are usually preliminary in decision making, in some cases, they can be definitive.

It is based on the calculation of the free androgen index (FAI) and the free PSA/total PSA ratio.

In case of a positive result, the diagnostic report may suggest the performance of a specific second line test, in order to deepen the diagnostic information, confirm therapies, establish prognoses or follow up the disease.

If a reproductive hormonal disorder is suggested, other tests will be recommended as appropriate.

 Screening recommendations

The United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) has no screening recommendations for reproductive dysfunction and athletic conditions in men.

However, Kience Inc. recommends the Venient Fx Hormonal Balance and Reproductive Function Basic (Male) test to treat patients presenting with the following symptoms, signs or suspicions of disease: erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, loss of libido or prostate disease; as well as any male patient interested in knowing his strength and training status.
