Venient Fx Venient Fx Hormonal Balance and Reproductive Function Basic - Female
Test Description
Venient Fx Hormonal Balance and Reproductive Function Basic (Female) is a disruptive, non-invasive test that provides primary information about a patient's hormonal balance and reproductive function.
It is based on a routine blood analysis and is powered by both proprietary machine learning and public algorithms, and provides highly accurate primary diagnostic information, including the likelihood of having any type of reproductive dysfunction. As a first line test, the results of the parameters included in it are useful to guide through different diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic options. Although the results are usually preliminary in decision making, in some cases, they can be definitive.
It is based on the determination of the main female sex hormones.
In case of a positive result, the diagnostic report may suggest the performance of a specific second line test, in order to deepen the diagnostic information, confirm therapies, establish prognoses or follow up the disease.
If a reproductive disorder is suggested, other tests will be recommended as appropriate.
Screening recommendations
The United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends screening women aged 21 to 65 years with cytology (Pap smear) every 3 years or, for women aged 30 to 65 years who wish to extend the screening interval, screening with a combination cytology and human papillomavirus test every 5 years.
